church staff

Jonathan Fletcher (Vicar)

After university, Jonathan worked as a teacher before going into the Church of England ministry. He served in the churches in Cockfosters (Hertfordshire), Cambridge and at St Helen's Bishopsgate in the City, before joining Emmanuel in 1982. He has a wide-ranging Bible teaching and evangelistic ministry, both in this country and overseas. He is hiding at the back on the picture...

Jane Leggett

Jane worked as a ward sister at St Thomas' Hospital for eighteen years. She has been involved in leadership in several churches, majoring in small-group Bible study. Jane leads the women's work at Emmanuel.

Andy Byfield (Curate)

Andy is an Essex Man who, after a degree in Chemistry, taught at a boarding school for eight years. He then trained for Church of England ministry in Cambridge before heading to SW19 where he is now busily trying to master the art of tennis. He is married to Anna and they have three children, Charlie, Hebe and Edward.

Charlie Newcombe

Charlie grew up around Kingston in the south-west of London. After completing a degree in geology, Charlie went on to spend five years in Christian Youth Work before attending to theological college in Cambridge. His interests include cycling, playing the guitar, maps and rocks (of course).
